Oldham Council and local GPs decided the town’s homeless people should be made a priority group to get the vaccine at the start of the rollout.

Chief Inspector Rachel Wood of North Yorkshire Police said: “Driving through three counties to get a burger is not classed as essential travel."

“It’s like we’re the pioneers of this new luxury travel vaccine programme," the group's founder boasted.

"Thirty-four of us share one shower and one toilet."

Professor Jonathan Van-Tam said his “hunch” is that vaccines will not be “outwitted” by new variants for many months.

“Nature, for us, is the life of the Indian. Why? It gives pure oxygen, it gives natural food to us, hunting, fishing, native fruits of the jungle, medicine, so, it is important to us, because we live off the jungle,”chief of the Uru-eu-wau-wau indigenous peoples said.

“Our NHS is unable to cope with this level of demand for this duration and ultimately it will end in everyone’s health suffering.”
