The foreign secretary has been the subject of critical briefings in a bitter Whitehall blame game about the Afghan crisis.
The campaign group accused the government of "pork barrel politics" over the system deployed to prioritise areas for cash.
Gove and his journalist wife Sarah Vine announced in July that they are to split after almost 20 years of marriage.
"What more do you need? It's made out of wood and has drawers?", he fumed.
"Five years from now Britain will be flourishing as never before," the prominent Leave advocate said.
"He is now a responsible politician with huge responsibility," the veteran MP said.
"It's pain that gives populism the ability to grow and succeed," he said.
“Are you the guys who have been inundated with all the emails from everywhere in the world saying, ‘please help my son, mother in Afghanistan?’"
"Exciting news from the man who’s about to remove £20 a week from some of the poorest and most vulnerable people in the country," David Schneider said.
