By Joe Mellor, Deputy Editor A Tory councillor decided to take to social media to make his own twisted donation to the murdered MP Jo Cox. Tory Dominic Peacock said he would "donate the steam of my piss" in memory of her brutal murder. The member for East Riding of Yorkshire Council, claimed he was "sick and tired" of hearing about the mum's murder by a deranged man with far-right beliefs. On a page asking people to donate cash...
The leader of the Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party Ruth Davidson received an ovation last night after outing the Leave campaign's lies and inaccurate figures used in their propaganda. Facing Boris Johnson and other key 'Outers' Davidson said she "can't let it stand that you sell a blatant untruth two days before a referendum", citing the Leave campaign's claim that 60 per cent of our laws are made in the EU, which is "simply not true". Only 13 per cent of our laws,...
A new report released this week will warn that right-wing extremists inflict more fatalities and injuries than Islamist terrorists in “lone actor” attacks. The report, from the Royal United Services Institute think tank in London, says that 94 people were killed and 260 injured in attacks carried out by right-wing extremists across Europe between the start of 2000 and the end of 2014. That compares with 16 deaths and 65 injuries caused by religiously inspired lone wolf attacks. The think tank...
Fully 71 percent of the youngest (18-24 year olds) British voters plan to cast ballots for the country to Remain in the European Union in the upcoming referendum, compared with just 38 percent of those aged 65 and up, according to a new UK survey by SurveyMonkey, the world’s leading survey platform. The huge generational gap underscores several great divides in the British electorate on the historic vote. Male voters favour Leave by a 10-point margin, while women side with...

Speaking at an EU debate hosted by Equilibrium Asset Management Sajjad Karim MEP said he has heard it ‘from the horse’s mouth’ that UK access to the single market was contingent on the acceptance of free movement. The claim raises questions for...

By Sean Michael Wilson Over the last 5 years people of left wing views have been focusing a lot on how the Tories are making life worse for people in the UK. Increasing student debt, decreasing housing benefit, making welfare payments more difficult to access, etc. But certain people, of a more right wing or conservative bent, have reacted rather differently. They come up with what they may think of as hard nosed, realistic views (of a social darwinist type, that...

His $10bn (£6.9bn) bet against the pound broke the Bank of England. Soros talking to the Guardian said that although some speculators could make huge financial gains from leaving the EU, a Brexit would leave “most voters considerably poorer.” The vote is on a...
