Liz Truss missed a BBC interview as she was too busy but managed to tell City A.M. how she will use the City to push the UK forward.
It comes as Liz Truss pulled out of a BBC interview with Nick Robinson called... 'Our Next Prime Minister.'
"Apparently, she'd stand up to Putin, but is scared of Nick Robinson," said one, 'The lady is not for turning up,' said another!
It comes as the Tory leadership frontrunner’s team said she ‘can no longer spare the time,’ to appear on BBC with Nick Robinson.
Spoiler: It's the same man who said there would be an “eight per cent drop” in the cost of living on “day one of leaving the EU”.
Robinson tweeted: “Was pleased to secure an in-depth interview with @trussliz on BBC1. I am disappointed & frustrated it’s been cancelled.”
Facing probable defeat at a General Election, the party may be prepared to gamble on the outgoing prime minister again.
She will reportedly be replaced by Suella Braverman.
