Brexit: US Speaker Nancy Pelosi says America won’t back trade deal if govt discards protocol
“It is deeply concerning that the United Kingdom is now seeking to unilaterally discard the Northern Ireland Protocol,” Ms Pelosi said.
The UK is the first and so far only country to have left the EU and Brexit was and is the withdrawal of the United Kingdom (UK) from the European Union (EU) and the European Atomic Energy Community (EAEC or Euratom). The official withdrawal was at 23:00 31 January 2020 GMT (00:00 CET).
“It is deeply concerning that the United Kingdom is now seeking to unilaterally discard the Northern Ireland Protocol,” Ms Pelosi said.
Before Brexit most of Britain's seasonal crop pickers came over from eastern Europe.
"Rewarding Britain for its threats is simply inconceivable. Brexit means Brexit, it’s a self-inflicted wound.”
Brexiter James Dyson and his family moved up to second in the list after a £6.7 billion increase to £23 billion.
"He has said brexit was a good idea. He is as bad as the rest. I am livid he has an EU passport,' said one angry person.
