Boris Johnson’s chief adviser has faced criticism for his decision to drive from London to Durham.
The senior Government adviser has sought to defend his decision to travel to County Durham.
The news comes as Dominic Cummings defending his actions, saying he behaved "reasonably".
Douglas Ross said although Cummings' actions were in the best interests of his family, it is clear they were decisions many others felt were not available to them.
Representatives from Labour, SNP, the Lib Dems, DUP, Plaid Cymru, SDLP, Alliance Party and the Greens will meet this morning.
The acting Durham police, crime and victims commissioner said there was a ‘plethora’ of additional information which deserved examination.
Reaction was strong in the County Durham market town where the Downing Street adviser was reported to have visited in April.
