CEO pay has bounced back post-covid but the pay for frontline staff who kept businesses operating during the pandemic have seen their pay flounder.

The oil giant reported second quarter profits jumping to a far better-than-expected 8.5 billion US dollars (£6.9 billion).

Picket lines were mounted outside railway stations on Saturday, with Aslef saying they were receiving strong public support despite the disruption the strike was causing.
