The UK is the first and so far only country to have left the EU and Brexit was and is the withdrawal of the United Kingdom (UK) from the European Union (EU) and the European Atomic Energy Community (EAEC or Euratom). The official withdrawal was at 23:00 31 January 2020 GMT (00:00 CET).

"Maybe I'm just naive," Peter Stefanovic told The London Economic, but surely these matters should be raised?
"Happy Magna Carta day! Let's celebrate due process and equality before the law since 1215! Or, as the Tories would have it, meddling lefty lawyers."
Maros Sefcovic said the Bill is “extremely damaging to mutual trust and respect between the EU and the UK”.
"We've just wasted £500,000, what an abject failure. If the ECHR made their decision that quickly, it must have been obvious that the Rwanda policy was in contravention of that convention?", Susanna Reid pointed out.
It comes as Liz Truss was lampooned for not being able to pronounce the word Taoiseach.
"No one involved in this project seems to want to take any responsibility for the outcome," said one person in response.
Foreign secretary Liz Truss’s plans to legislate to rip up parts of the Northern Ireland Protocol have been met with outrage in Brussels and Dublin.
"The UK government know all this, sadly, I don't think they care", one person tweeted in response.
