No Downing Street reception for victorious Lionesses as Boris Johnson goes on summer break

Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson is a British politician and writer serving as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Leader of the Conservative Party since July 2019. He was Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs 2016-2018 and Mayor of London 2008-2016. Johnson has been Member of Parliament (MP) for Uxbridge and South Ruislip since 2015 and was previously MP for Henley from 2001 to 2008. He has been described as adhering to the ideology of one-nation and national conservatism.

The PM joked he had received “masses of letters to resign, mostly from my closest family”.
"Although this is satire unfortunately it is fundamentally true," wrote one person after watching the video.

It comes as Boris Johnson's plans to flood the House of Lords with dozens of cronies could "undermine public confidence in our parliamentary system."
Cleo Watson said chairs had to be put in doorways when the PM was self-isolating to stop him from leaving the confines of the room.
"Johnson’s letter to Parliament about his Lebedev meeting in Italy in 2018 lacks any credibility. Do he and his advisors think we’re idiots?"
Boris is thought to have the support of the US and the Baltic states, but might struggle to convince France to vote in favour of him.
The Good Law Project criticised the Met for continuing “to fail to provide any explanation of how they cleared the Prime Minister”.
