Priti Patel has said preparation for the next flight "begins now" after the first deportation was delayed by the European Court of Human Rights.
"Keep the European Convention, it's a fine thing… We wrote it."
A Home Office source has confirmed the plane, which was stood on the tarmac ready for departure, will not take off due to interventions from the ECHR.
"No one should be on this flight. No one should be deported under such racist and discriminatory policies."
It comes as Liz Truss was lampooned for not being able to pronounce the word Taoiseach.
