Christine Hamilton dumped by charities after comparing burqas to KKK HOODS

Two charities have dropped Christine Hamilton over a Tweet she posted. Hamilton compared "sinister" burqas to KKK hoods. Muscular Dystrophy UK and Balls to Cancer severed ties with her after a public outcry. She posted an image of Ku Klux Klansmen in white hoods with the caption: "If the burka is acceptable then presumably this is too?" She then posted two more tweets trying to explain why she posted it.
