Ukrainian forces “appear to have won the battle of Kharkiv”, according to a US defence thinktank.

The cases are not linked to a previously confirmed case in England announced on May 7.

The constituency Labour Party’s executive said its members are quitting en masse in protest at the lack of a local candidate.

With many officials reportedly still working from home, Mr Johnson has previously railed against the “post Covid manana culture” in the Civil Service.

“Had the Conservatives not been so wasteful with public funds, they would not need to raise taxes on working people during a cost-of-living crisis."
