"A Labour Government will scrap the status altogether in our first Budget," the 'fair tax' manifesto read.
The Labour Party said the chancellor has hit Britain with "15 tax rises in just two years" as it staged a photo op outside his office.
The Labour leader said families will be £2,620 worse off under the Conservatives as the cost-of-living crisis bites.
The chancellor is set to unveil his Spring Statement from 12.30.
Labour’s vote share increased in the seat but almost three-quarters of voters stayed away from polling stations.
