The move comes after Corbyn was suspended from Labour in October 2020, after saying antisemitism in the party was “dramatically overstated for political reasons by our opponents inside and outside the party, as well as by much of the media.”
Sir Keir's announcement pleased climate activists, who feared he was backing away from radical climate action.
The outspoken Sky Sports pundit has reportedly discussed "shared political interests" with the Labour leader.
Sir Keir said moving the date forward would make a "huge difference" to businesses and holidaymakers.
