By Gemma Joyce As the race for London Mayor accelerates, new data is suggesting a change in tide of online support for the front runners. Social data research on the candidates’ performance on social media could be good news for Richmond Park and North Kingston MP Zac Goldsmith. The analysis, conducted by Brandwatch, studied conversations surrounding London Mayor front runners Sadiq Khan and Zac Goldsmith on Twitter, finding that discussion related to the Conservative candidate was scoring a higher percentage of...

By Jonathan Hatchman, Food Editor, @TLE_Food Within central London, there are very few retreats from the ides of modern day city life. Spaces that feel as though they’re not within zones one or two on the tube map, and places that aren’t inhumanely busy at even the most unsociable hours. However, one of those very few spaces is Shad Thames - an area of the Southbank between Tower Bridge and the Rotherhithe Tunnel that houses a number of old warehouse...
By Leslie Byron Pitt/@afrofilmviewer The French original 2008 version of Martyrs is reminiscent of the delightful internet meme: Honey Badger don’t care. It is a relentless beast of a horror film. Fully assured of its nihilism and unrepentant on who knows it. A force of nature that wasn’t for everyone, but turned those who were with it into devout followers. Now in 2016, America comes forth with a remake of Pascal Laugier brutal exercise. Feature one would liken more towards...

This adult x-mas yarn has Rogan playing side kick (along with Anthony Mackie) to Joseph Gorden-Levitt’s Ethan, whose quest to find and enjoy New York’s dopest secret festive party, plays off very much in the way that you would expect it to. With varying results. There isn’t that much to expect and little to say about...

The issue has...

A campaign leaflet sent by Goldsmith that was tailored to those from specific Indian groups stated he supported family-owned businesses and was against taxes on family jewellery. Cllr Varinder Singh Bola, who received a leaflet saying Goldsmith “campaigned for the Golden Temple to remain in the hands of the Sikh community," called the campaign "very distasteful" and "quite patronising to target ethnic communities"....
