"The latest insanely bonkers interview given by Brexit Opportunities Minister Jacob Rees-Mogg is the most graphic example yet that he has taken the entire country for fools. Watch in disbelief."
Rees-Mogg also blamed Paris for the “French-created delays” as he was played a clip from 2018 where he was clear that “the delays will not be at Dover they will be at Calais”.
The arch Brexiteer said he was "wrong in the right way" about how Brexit would impact Channel crossings.
The Brexit opportunities minister was responding to questions over whether such comments "calcify" Scotland's wish to leave the Union.
"The demon headmaster in a casual look for sports day," wrote one person after looking at the image of Rees-Mogg.
"Is the machine standing in the way of things happening by our elected government?”
The tweet claimed that supplies for Rees-Mogg's summer soirée had been victim of the traffic chaos at Dover.
"I never realised Rees-Mogg and the Grim Reaper shared an office. I mean, it makes sense...," wrote one person after seeing the pic.
