Twitter reacts as Brexit lorry queues spotted from space

The UK is the first and so far only country to have left the EU and Brexit was and is the withdrawal of the United Kingdom (UK) from the European Union (EU) and the European Atomic Energy Community (EAEC or Euratom). The official withdrawal was at 23:00 31 January 2020 GMT (00:00 CET).

Thousands of British citizens may be waiting for family permits to be able to move to the UK, but the Home Office reportedly rejected freedom of information requests and parliamentary questions on data from the former Brexit select committee chair, Hilary Benn.
“So a right wing tabloid newspaper has completely misrepresented the truth? Welcome to our world for the last 30 years. It's how Brexit happened," a communications professor has said.
One haulier said the long queues seen last week were "entirely Brexit".
"How long until portable toilets are out on the A20 ? There are NO facilities for drivers waiting for hours. Forced to p*ss in bottles like animals."
"Very desperate or very stupid, or both," wrote one person in response.
The government agency said there had been a problem with some cameras after a 17k queue formed on the M20.
“It is unfortunate that the result of the free trade agreement will be directly impacted by this."
The Tory peer thinks public "anger" could trigger another vote on the UK's membership in the EU.
