Bad news, Boris: Brits have hardly heard of ‘levelling up’
A quarter of Brits have never heard of levelling up, new polling has found.
Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson is a British politician and writer serving as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Leader of the Conservative Party since July 2019. He was Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs 2016-2018 and Mayor of London 2008-2016. Johnson has been Member of Parliament (MP) for Uxbridge and South Ruislip since 2015 and was previously MP for Henley from 2001 to 2008. He has been described as adhering to the ideology of one-nation and national conservatism.

“Taxpayers up and down the country will rightly feel aggrieved that their taxes are being spent – in ludicrous sums – on an undemocratic, outdated system," Scotland's ruling party has said.
“Once again, whilst our NHS is left to hope for the best but prepare for the worst, the PM is nowhere to be seen," Lib Dem health spokeswoman Daisy Cooper said.
The former Oasis star said Labour had "betrayed the working classes".
That is, of course, if Conservative Party members feel he is the right fit for the job - indications show Liz Truss could be next in line.
The public fear that commitments made at Cop26 won't be met because they aren't legally binding.
"Well, Boris has always been able to get away with things that mere mortals can’t seem to," former prime minister David Cameron has said.
“Many of those around him, mediocre politicians now drunk with the unexpected power that an ill-prepared referendum has bestowed upon them, have supported him because they saw it as a formidable opportunity for their careers," one newspaper read.
Polls are showing prime minister Boris Johnson's ratings have reached a new low.
