The biggest talking points appear to be potential managerial changes as the top clubs.

What the papers say

Mauricio Pochettino could be a shock contender to replace Unai Emery as manager at Arsenal, according to The Sun. Owner Stan Kroenke is now reluctantly coming around to the idea that he will have to find a new manager sooner rather than later. However, Pochettino is in no rush to get a new job and is happy to wait for a vacancy to arise at Real Madrid, Manchester United or Bayern Munich.

David Moyes set for return to Everton to replace under-fire boss Marco Silva . Moyes , 56, spent 11 years in charge at Goodison Park and built up a strong reputation on Merseyside before his departure in 2013. Everton fans joined in with chants of “you’re getting sacked in the morning”  during their defeat at Norwich.

West Ham considering swoop for Sheff Utd’s Chris Wilder as replacement for Pellegrini. The Daily Mirror claims the East London club have Wilder “in their crosshairs” as they consider Pellegrini’s future, after poor results after being back heavily in the transfer market.

Striker Rhian Brewster could be leaving Liverpool on loan in January, the Daily Star reports. The 19-year-old has only played three hours of first-team football, during the Carabao Cup, this season and Reds manager Jurgen Klopp is happy to let him leave for a spell. Leeds, Crystal Palace, Swansea and Aston Villa are all possible destinations.

Bournemouth’s loss could be Liverpool or Arsenal’s gain when it comes to Ryan Fraser, the Daily Mirror reports. The 25-year-old winger’s contract with the Cherries is up at the end of the season and he has been linked with bigger clubs. View this post on Instagram

Players to watch

Carlos Sanchez: The 33-year-old midfielder has failed to impress at West Ham so the club is looking to sell him in January, according to The Sun.

Samuel Umtiti: The France centre-back, 26, would prefer to leave Barcelona for former club Lyon than Arsenal, L’Equipe reports.
