MPs have urged the Government to establish a compensation scheme for health and social care staff and key workers.
“It is an astounding number of preventable deaths from one cause in one year, absolutely astounding number. It’s a sign of a phenomenal failure of policy and practice in the face of this new and dangerous virus."
"The pattern is depressingly familiar. Bluster. Dither. Fail to lead. Then, far too late, bow to public pressure," Dr Rachel Clarke said.
“It’s like we’re the pioneers of this new luxury travel vaccine programme," the group's founder boasted.
“Our NHS is unable to cope with this level of demand for this duration and ultimately it will end in everyone’s health suffering.”
"I get that everyone makes mistakes but ministers really need to be across most basic points," Adam Wagner said.
