It comes as Brits bemoan long queues at Spanish airports and claim Irish citizens are getting ‘preferential treatment.’
A complication arising from Brexit has been blamed for a legislative nightmare, which is set to impact tens of thousands of Brits in Spain.
"I didn't have 'Jacob Rees Mogg admits Brexit is a complete failure' on my 2022 bingo card," tweeted Best for Britain.
"It really seems like Brexit has to bear a disproportionate role in explaining the inflation," Adam Posen said.
The European Union implemented post-Brexit checks as soon as the withdrawal agreement came into force.
“The Remainers would have it that everything is going wrong but actually we are already seeing a lot of bonuses to Brexit," Peter Bone said.
