A nan who has lived in a council house all her life, has given her favourite grandson £700k so he can buy a swanky warehouse apartment in Hackney Wick, East London.

Gran, Deidre told her grandson Nathaniel, 25, that she had been saving up her £42 a week pension for 320 years so she could buy him the property. She hasn’t eaten, drank water or turned on her heating on her entire life, so she could afford to buy him the flat.

Nathaniel said: “I am not sure what I was more surprised at, the fact my nan was 320-years-old or she could afford to buy me the flat. It does kind of explain the shit presents every xmas. I might do a vlog about her, but not sure I can be arsed, i’ve got the money now.”

Deidre was just relived to be able to die safe in knowledge her grandson can flounce around Dalston setting up kick-starters and crowd funding projects, aka never getting a proper job.
