Nigel Farage has delivered the most unpopular response to Henry Nowak’s murder, according to polling of voters.
Last week, Farage sparked controversy after issuing a video responding to Nowak’s death, in which he peddled lines about ‘two-tier policing’ and ‘white lives matter.’
The Reform leader called for ‘pure, cold rage’ in response to the killing, which took place in December when Nowak was stabbed by Vickrum Digwa on his way home after a night out.
Digwa had falsely claimed to police he had been racially abused and had acted in self-defence, and when officers arrived at the scene they handcuffed Nowak as he lay dying.
Digwa was jailed for life last week, with a minimum of 21 years.

Nowak’s death has sparked shock and anger from across the political spectrum, but it’s Farage’s response that has proved most controversial as Nowak’s family had called for their son’s death not to be politicised and used to create more hate and division.
New polling from Opinium has found that more people disapprove of Farage’s response to the tragedy than that of any other political leader.
Although 26% approved of Farage’s response, 32% disapproved, giving him an approval rating of -6.
Fewer people disapproved of the responses from Keir Starmer (27%), Kemi Badenoch (15%) and Zack Polanski (17%).
It was Badenoch who got the most positive ratings for her response, with 28% approving of her response, giving the Tory leader a rating of +12.
