Andrew Tate’s self-cultivated image of extreme wealth is being exposed for the sham that it is after court documents revealed that his luxury cars are rented.

As Tate and his brother Tristan are currently being held in a jail in Florida after they were arrested last month on dozens of new charges, including rape, offences related to sexual assault and offences relating to indecent images of a child and extreme pornography.

Both men deny all the charges against them, and they are currently seeking release on bail as they await the outcome of extradition proceedings to the UK.

As part of legal proceedings taking place in court, the Tate brothers’ legal representatives have argued that the duo are not a flight risk because they are in fact not as “uberwealthy” as their online image makes out.

The BBC reports that Tate’s legal representative said in legal submissions to the court that the misogynistic influencer’s business model “depends on online attention.”

A lot of Tate’s online image sees him portray himself as en extremely wealthy individual, showing off luxury cars and yachts on his social media.

But it turns out that he actually doesn’t own these vehicles.

The legal submission stated that cars, including an Aston Martin and Bugattis, reportedly worth $5 million and $7 million, which featured in the Tates’ social media content, were rented.

Memorably, Tate was humiliated by Greta Thunberg on Twitter when he bragged about his car collection, particularly his Bugatti.

Thunberg said at the time that Tate had ‘small d**k energy’ and the latest court revelations about his cars is undeniably further evidence of this.

Bragging about your cars is one thing, but bragging about cars you don’t even own? Well that’s brand new levels of humiliation.

Today the courts have forced Andrew Tate to admit that he didn’t even own those cars.

If you ever wondered if the humiliation Tate suffered that day at the hands of @GretaThunberg could be topped… the answer is a resounding yes! 😆 pic.twitter.com/GlPMj7z5PI

It also revealed that a superyacht that the Tate brothers have previously bragged about owning also does not belong to them, and they were in fact paid to promote it.

Last month, the Tate brothers were detained by US Marshalls in Miami after the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) in the UK brought 38 new charges, including rape and offences related to sex trafficking, against them.

Bedfordshire Police confirmed that the charges authorised by the CPS came from their investigation into the Tate brothers, dating back some 16 years.

As per the Bedfordshire Police – whose jurisdiction includes Andrew Tate’s hometown of Luton – the 39-year-old is facing 42 charges in total – 19 of which are for ‘offences relating to indecent images of a child and extreme pornography’, adding a sinister and sickening new dynamic to their rap sheet.

His brother Tristan, meanwhile, was charged with 17 offences. Both of them stand accused of assault and sexual exploitation.
