Donald Trump’s latest financial disclosure has revealed some attention-grabbing investments made by the president.

It’s an undeniable fact that no president in the history of America has ever used the office for financial profit quite like Trump has.

From making billions off crypto currency and meme coins to fleecing his most loyal followers through watches, bibles and gold-plated phones, Trump has seen his wealth balloon since he moved back into the White House.

But away from these open methods of profiteering, there are some more fishy and suspicious dealings that have caught the attention of some.

This year, Trump and the White House have been accused of insider trading through the war in Iran, and now some interesting investments have been revealed.

A financial disclosure published on August 22 shows that Trump made more than 1,000 securities trades in June, totalling between US$78.1 million and US$263.1 million.

Among these trades were a number of investments in companies that have business with Trump’s administration, the New Republic reports.

This included spending between $250,000 and $500,000 on Boeing stock on June 18.

On the very same day, the US Navy handed the aerospace manufacturer a $880 million government contract for its P-8A training system.

Trump also invested in Palantir, Meta and Broadcom, all of which have had government contracts handed to them in recent months.

The Republican also invested in Nvidia after he gave the company permission to trade its electronic chips in China, a move that is set to see the company make more than$1tn in revenue.

The White House has repeatedly dismissed claims Trump is profiteering off his position as president or that there are any conflicts of interest.

White House spokesman Davis Ingle told CNBC in May that Trump’s assets are in a trust managed by his children.

“President Trump only acts in the best interests of the American public—which is why they overwhelmingly reelected him to this office, despite years of lies and false accusations against him and his businesses from the fake news media,” he said.
