After spending the best part of the last decade spewing their toxic and fragile brand of masculinity to millions of people across the world, Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan are now facing extradition to the UK, following their arrest for a combined total of 59 charges this weekend.

What have Andrew Tate and his brother been charged with?

Video footage shared online shows the siblings being handcuffed and detained by US Marshalls in Miami. Bedfordshire Police confirmed that the charges authorised by the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) came from their investigation into the Tate brothers, dating back some 16 years.

The so-called ‘manosphere’ figureheads have racked up a barbaric set of charges between them, with both facing counts of rape, sex trafficking, and assault. However, a majority of the offences – 42 in total – have been levelled against Andrew Tate, and include some harrowing details.

As per the Bedfordshire Police – whose jurisdiction includes Andrew Tate’s hometown of Luton – the 39-year-old is facing 19 charges for ‘offences relating to indecent images of a child and extreme pornography’, adding a sinister and sickening new dynamic to their rap sheet.

Despite their vile brand of misogyny, the Tates held no shame in previously positioning themselves as ‘protectors’ of women and girls, often blaming ‘woke culture’ and ‘the LGBTQI+ movement’ for offences committed against them. However, they may soon have to consider adding their own names to that list.
