Philosophically speaking, being stuck at home gives us time to understand ourselves.
Every other industry in the UK is properly regulated, yet newspaper websites read by millions of people every day get away with intrusive and inaccurate reporting with little to no justice for those impacted.
This crisis demonstrates the lamentable missed opportunity Britain had to install a politician who actually gave a damn about ordinary people.
As the situation worsens or improves, choices will have be made regarding the types of societies we would like to see in the future.
If Covid-19 has taught us anything it is that we can do things differently.
We must embrace this chance and act now to create healthy cities in which everyone feels safe to leave their house, whether they walk, cycle, or hop on a bus or train.
Helping health and care workers is admirable, but when governments find good news stories in prisons in the midst of crisis, we should ask questions.
So as we face this new reality of Covid-19, watching those dramas about pandemics, the apocalypse, the end of the world, is not just about judging whether the dramatists got it right or not, but more about allowing us to feel the fear, and use it to help us understand...
