If making wine was an Olympic sport, Sex and The City star Sarah Jessica Parker would be at the top of the podium this week. In an unprecedented double gold and Europe rosé trophy win, the Hollywood star turned winemaker has clutched three awards for her latest wine.

Entitled Invivo X, Sarah Jessica Parker (SJP) Sauvignon Blanc – and it’s rosé companion – were selected from a long list of 1,400 bottles of wine from 24 countries to take the top honours, marking a goldrush of plaudits from the judges at the prestigious New York International Wine Competition.

Whilst Parker is known globally as style maven Carrie Bradshaw from legendary TV series Sex & The City, in recent years she has turned her hand to producing wine with New Zealand producers Invivo.

As well as being seen in the most respectable wine coolers around the world, Parker and her business partners at Invivo have added a philanthropic approach to business. Each month, the proceeds from Invivo X, Sarah Jessica Parker wines fund meals for school children around the world through a partnership with impact-driven brand FEED, through their on-the-ground giving partners.

Parker is currently filming the Sex & The City reboot And Just Like That but shared with her Invivo X, SJP followers on Instagram her joy at the big win.

Sarah Jessica comments: “It’s such an honour to be awarded two gold medals and the Europe Rosè trophy from the 2021 New York International Wine Competition. Lots of love has gone into making our wines, from the vineyard through to blending, and we are thrilled and honoured to be recognised. We thank everyone who has brought a bottle home and included us on their dinner tables and as part of their special moments. We’re delighted to share this exciting recognition with you.”

Currently the award-winning Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand and Rosé from the South of France are available via Ocado, winedelivered.co.uk and for well-heeled shoppers at Harvey Nichols. But thirsty Brits who are keen to get Carrie’d away with the Sauvignon Blanc will be able to pick up a bottle at Tesco’s nationwide from October.

Tim Lightbourne, Co-founder of Invivo & Co comments “We’ve been blown away by the award wins – it’s the first time we’ve won two golds and a trophy at the New York International wine competition, and the hype around the world has been phenomenal this weekend. The quality of the wines is testament to Rob and the rest of the winemaking team along with Sarah Jessica Parker. We put a lot of care into every step of the process. We’re just delighted to receive these accolades and looking forward to a strong second half of the year.”
