The Tory MP is returning to face questions about his political future in Westminster, but received some support from the former prime minister.
“They are allies of ours, they do invest a huge amount of money in this country", the former prime minister said.

They told the former PM that he should regard PMQs as a theatrical performance rather than seeing it as if it were a genuine question and answers session.
