Pc Adam Zaman, 28, was charged by City of London Police, who "acted swiftly" as soon as the allegation was reported.
The accusations included sexual harassment, sexual assault, rape and using a position of power for sexual gain.
A parliamentary inquiry hit out at the police handling of both the Everard vigil and 'Kill the Bill' protests.
