Brexit: UK risks angering EU further with response to legal threats
The Government is understood to have told Brussels it will continue with the grace periods relating to the Northern Ireland Protocol.
The UK is the first and so far only country to have left the EU and Brexit was and is the withdrawal of the United Kingdom (UK) from the European Union (EU) and the European Atomic Energy Community (EAEC or Euratom). The official withdrawal was at 23:00 31 January 2020 GMT (00:00 CET).

It comes as the EU has received the UK's response to legal threats over the post-Brexit Northern Ireland Protocol.
"In these times it is wrong to receive extraordinary record revenues and profits benefiting from war and on the back of consumers."
