Who’s next? Financial sector now asks government for EU workers
A recent report found that 42 per cent of fintech workers, who are key to growth in the UK finance industry, are from abroad.
The UK is the first and so far only country to have left the EU and Brexit was and is the withdrawal of the United Kingdom (UK) from the European Union (EU) and the European Atomic Energy Community (EAEC or Euratom). The official withdrawal was at 23:00 31 January 2020 GMT (00:00 CET).

One Yorkshire farmer culled hundreds of piglets because of a processing backlog at local slaughterhouses.
Priti Patel said European ID cards are "insecure", and wouldn't be valid for travel to the UK.
"The government’s response to the lorry driver crisis has been to extend driving hours, reduce training requirements, water down tests and weaken the licence required to drive a tanker. This is a highly dangerous cocktail and will only lessen safety on the UK's roads."
