Starmer labels Johnson ‘a trickster who’s performed his one trick: Brexit’
The Labour leader said the UK needs a plan to "Make Brexit Work" in his long-awaited conference speech.
Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson is a British politician and writer serving as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Leader of the Conservative Party since July 2019. He was Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs 2016-2018 and Mayor of London 2008-2016. Johnson has been Member of Parliament (MP) for Uxbridge and South Ruislip since 2015 and was previously MP for Henley from 2001 to 2008. He has been described as adhering to the ideology of one-nation and national conservatism.

"That's Christmas f*cked again then," said one frank social media user.

Meanwhile, Labour now has less support among Conservative-leaning voters than it had in 2016 under Jeremy Corbyn.
The head of the European Road Haulers Association said drivers enjoyed better pay and working conditions in the EU.
As the crisis escalates, prime minister reportedly "doesn't care about visa limits any more".
Brazil's president said Johnson “wants an emergency agreement with us to import some kind of food lacking in England".
