Organisers have banned “Oh Jeremy Corbyn” chants ahead of the tournament, which gets underway today.

After hearing the chant take over the Glastonbury Festival and even filter into England cricket games the conservative All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club have put in place preventative measures to ensure Corbynistas don’t upset the regulars.

The chant of the Labour leader’s name to The White Stripe’s Steven Nation Army has been banned at the event after a warning was published stating “No political slogans!”.

The ban will be on display on the way in, and the official rules for spectators ban “any objects or clothing bearing political statements”.

Of course they take a more laissez faire attitude to other loud noises, as demonstrated here.
