Sport News 24/7 By David de Winter - Sports Editor @davidjdewinter @TLE_Sport Four points against the footballing powerhouses of Russia and Wales. The way England celebrated Daniel Sturridge’s winner against Wales you would have been forgiven for thinking that they’d won the Euros, Eurovision and also successfully voted to remain in the EU in one fell swoop (how many of the England players have remembered to apply for their postal or proxy vote I wonder?). When you’ve paid out a small fortune for a weekend break you can be forgiven for going budget on the airport hotel, but when you turn up to be welcomed by a service station bunker, it can be a sure-fire way to ruin the first leg of your trip.
