A pervert has been banned from travelling on the Tube at night – because he kept touching sleeping passengers.

Sex pest Fernando Enclada narrowly avoided prison after he was caught touching up sleeping men on late night trains.

The sex pest carried out two ‘despicable and abhorrent’ attacks on sleeping night tube passengers.

Enclada, 37, attacked one 20-year-old victim while he slept on the Central Line last year.

The early-hour attack saw Enclada force himself on his unsuspecting victim while he made lewd comments.

As the train reached Woodford station, the victim challenged Enclada and chased him out of the station.

Enclada targeted a second man five months later, who was travelling alone on the Central Line at 3.30 am.

The victim, in his twenties, fell asleep in Hainault, Essex, before he awoke to Enclada performing a ‘sex act’.

Police caught up with the attacker and arrested and charged him with sexual assault on July 14, 2017.

DC Andy Parkinson from British Transport Police, said: “Enclada’s sexually inappropriate and invasive behaviour was both unsolicited and perverse.

“He exploited the vulnerabilities of two sleeping men and sexually assaulted them, his actions were abhorrent and disgraceful.

“Both victims in this case demonstrated great strength in reporting Enclada’s behaviour.

“I’d personally like to thank them for their support, thanks to the overwhelming evidence against him, Enclada was forced to plead guilty.

“We will never tolerate unwanted sexual behaviour and work hard with TfL to send a clear message that these offences will be robustly investigated.”

Siwan Hayward, head of transport policing at Transport for London, said: “Enclada’s actions were despicable and abhorrent.”

Enclada, of Camberwell, south London, was sentenced at Blackfriars Crown Court on August 13 to nine months’ imprisonment – suspended for two years.

The sex attacker was ordered to pay a £900 fine, and made to sign on the Sex Offenders Register for a period of ten years.

He was also banned from from using the London Underground, Overground, National Rail and DLR between 1 am and 7 am.
