The growing list of political figures and lobbyists pranked by Sacha Baron Cohen for a new series is truly tantalising.

The Ali G, Bruno and Borat star took political pranking to new levels with former Vice President Dick Cheney signing a water board and prominent right wingers Sarah Palin, Roy Moore, and radio host Joe Walsh publicly attacking the comedian for making them look stupid.

The latter can be seen in this hilarious ten minute first look at the new show on Showtime that puts the gun lobby in its sights to devastating effect. It is absolutely jaw-dropping that National Rifle Association lobbyists and politicians in their pay fall for Baron Cohen’s totally over the top performance as an Israeli guns advocate.

And then they join his call to arm kindergarten children:
