A police Land Rover that has been spray painted silver.  Police in Hebden Bridge, Yorkshire, are appealing for information following a criminal damage incident. Sometime between 9.30pm last night (10th October) and 4.45am this morning on Royd Villas where a Police Land Rover was painted silver.  See ROSS PARRY story RPYSILVER.  Neighbourhood Inspector John Simpson said: "Some people might find this funny but the extent of the damage means that this vital emergency vehicle will be off the road whilst it is repaired at a cost. It is a specialist vehicle used to access the more rural areas of Calderdale and as such is an essential vehicle for the local communities."

A police Land Rover has been spray painted silver by vandals in Hebden Bridge, Yorkshire.

The authorities are now appealing for information following the criminal damage incident, which took place sometime between 9.30pm last night and 4.45am this morning on Royd Villas.

The vehicle is used to access rural areas in an emergency, and will be out of service while the act of vandalism is rectified.

Anyone who has any information about this incident is asked to contact Inspector Simpson via 101 quoting log number 138 of 11th October.
