Sir Keir Starmer this week used a visit to The Hague in the Netherlands to push his party’s proposed solution to the small boats crisis.
Yvette Cooper said data showed a ‘shocking’ 25 per cent increase from December, when Rishi Sunak promised to end the placement of migrants in hotels.
"The prime minister and home secretary have no plan to fix the Tories' small boats chaos and their only policy is now completely unravelling."
"No self-respecting minister could possibly think this is serious"
The home secretary simply shook her head after deputy speaker Eleanor Laing gave her the opportunity to correct the record.
"What is the point of her?", Cooper asked as Braverman skips the Commons and refuses to do media appearances.
"If she can’t get a grip on her own behaviour how can she grip anything else?"
The shadow home secretary put Braverman to task over her weekend trip to Rwanda, where she visited properties earmarked for asylum seekers.
