One year on, most voters think Brexit has harmed Britain
Brits think Brexit has done more harm than good, a new poll found.
The UK is the first and so far only country to have left the EU and Brexit was and is the withdrawal of the United Kingdom (UK) from the European Union (EU) and the European Atomic Energy Community (EAEC or Euratom). The official withdrawal was at 23:00 31 January 2020 GMT (00:00 CET).

Whitehall is undertaking a review of all retained EU law to check whether some regulations should be binned or reformed.
Marking a year since Brexit, Boris Johnson vowed to "cut back on EU red tape" in 2022.
“You could interpret this as the UK having less reach in future," a finance expert has said.
“Brexiters kinda forgot that Brexit also means EU countries 'taking back control'. How about that," editor Mike Butcher has said.
"We can post to anywhere in Europe with no customs," the Northern Irish bussinessman has said.
“Therein lies a paradox that troubles many Brexiteers: if 'success' is avoiding the costs of divergence , why did we leave in the first place?," the former Lib Dem leader asked.
"No wonder the Aussie trade minister was so fulsome in his praise for Liz Truss. The Aussies can't believe their luck in negotiating the fastest trade deal in history," one person said.
It comes as UK phone providers have been allowed to bring back roaming charges from next year because the Brexit trade deal signed by the government did not say otherwise.
