Residents reckon they are living in England’s most patriotic street after decking every house with St George’s flags ahead of the Three Lions Quarter Final clash with Sweden.

People living in Lillington Road, in Wood End, Coventry, have spent week’s carefully stringing red-and-white bunting between every house on the half-mile long road.

Builder John Burrows, 25, said: “It’s a brilliant effort. Everyone is going nuts for the World Cup.

“The bunting all looks terrific and shows just how much everyone here is getting behind Gareth Southgate and the lads in Russia.
