He is tied along with shadow home secretary Yvette Cooper according to a survey by DeltaPoll released over the weekend.
The Change.org petition, set up three days ago, claims he is "personally responsible" for causing the death of civilians and servicemen.
If the results were repeated in a General Election it could lead to the loss of more than 100 Tory seats.
"Guess voting for Brexit was a waste of time then," one person said.
The deputy prime minister's Surrey constituency is top of the Lib Dems' target seats at election time.
Emma Raducanu, Adam Peaty and Daniel Craig have also been recognised in the annual honours list.
“Brexiters kinda forgot that Brexit also means EU countries 'taking back control'. How about that," editor Mike Butcher has said.
“Therein lies a paradox that troubles many Brexiteers: if 'success' is avoiding the costs of divergence , why did we leave in the first place?," the former Lib Dem leader asked.
