An additional £600m in costs hit British importers since Brexit came into force, taxes which were not required when Britain was in EU's single market.

“It’s scary stuff when you consider that British applicants might have sold up in the UK to buy their dream home here, shipped all their furniture and belongings over and their pets - what do they do?” a representative for British immigrants in Spain said.
"Pointless and byzantine" export rules have resulted in delays to fresh and chilled foods such as sandwiches getting to the shelves.
“This is one of the many benefits of Brexit. The first pint I have with the crown on will taste much better," Lee Anderson said.
“Earlier in the year we had people back out on the streets again. There was civil unrest, there was violence on the streets."
“Boris Johnson once spoke of Brexit and the ‘sunlit meadows beyond’, but the reality he has delivered is food rotting in the fields because there is no one there to pick it."
