Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has said Mr Johnson’s promise to ‘get Brexit done’ is a ‘fraud on the British people’.
"There is far, far more that unites us than divides us", the Prime Minister said.
"I don't actually believe there is... a big trade deal with the USA," said Conservative grandee Chris Patten. The Tory peer warned that Britain would "have to accept some concessions on regulation... in health, in food safety."

The Conservatives will be wary of any endorsements or comments from the US president during his visit to the UK.
The PM said the quotes were stripped of context and formed part of a smear campaign by Labour.
The PM also said he would ‘walk out’ of trade talks with the US if it wanted the NHS to be on the table.
