People at risk are being urged to self-isolate as the coronavirus increases its grip on the UK.
The National Education Union has asked the PM why the UK Government is not closing schools in the same way as other countries.
The death toll in the UK has risen from 21 deaths on Saturday.
It comes after Richard Branson's Virgin Group Holdings was criticised for its tax affairs earlier this year.
The measure is expected in the coming weeks.
The open letter warned that leaders are “risking many more lives than necessary”.
The 10 patients who have died were in the at risk groups.
