‘You’ll Be Sacked’: Count Binface sends hilarious musical message to Boris Johnson

"He wins my vote on the video alone," one person said after the London mayoral candidate channelled his inner Hamilton.

Count Binface has repurposed a song from Hamilton to send Boris Johnson a hilarious musical message.

The London mayoral candidate featured the free school meals fiasco and the “silly red” Brexit bus in a song entitled ‘You’ll be Sacked’, which takes aim at the current prime minister and former London mayor.

He warned that Johnson will soon face the same fate as the “orange monstrosity” Donald Trump, who was ignominiously booted out of office last year.

Appearing in his spaceship, Binface sang: “You’ll be sacked, soon you’ll see, that’s the beauty of democracy,” before showing clips of Dominic Cummings, who has re-emerged as a thorn in the PM’s side this week.

Last week Count Binface released his manifesto for the May election – promising to ban loud snacks from theatres and banish Piers Corbyn to the ‘Phantom Zone’.

He also promised to tie government minister’s pay to that of nurses for the next 100 years and have London rejoin the European Union, as well as reopening Traitors’ Gate, an infamous entrance to the Tower of London, to welcome Dido Harding on day one.

Journalism in Britain is under threat. The government is becoming increasingly authoritarian and our media is run by a handful of billionaires, most of whom reside overseas and all of them have strong political allegiances and financial motivations.

Our mission is to hold the powerful to account. It is vital that free media is allowed to exist to expose hypocrisy, corruption, wrongdoing and abuse of power. But we can't do it without you.
