MPs overwhelmingly endorsed a report that found Boris Johnson lied to Parliament with his partygate denials, but the Prime Minister stayed away.
Some 354 MPs voted in favour, with seven against and some noticeable no votes.
After several hours of debate, Labour forced a vote on the motion, with the Opposition providing tellers for both the ayes and noes.
“Oh dear. I think that’s a mic drop. I think that’s a mic drop, Jacob Rees-Mogg", one MP could be heard saying.
“It is important to show the public that there is not one rule for them and another for us,” she said.
The Forfeiture Committee could consider cases if nominees are deemed to have brought the honours system “into disrepute”.
His austerity programme was branded a “political choice” that left the UK “hugely exposed to the pandemic”.
The former prime minister also described claims that she dresses like Margaret Thatcher as ‘lazy thinking’.
Voted into parliament in 2010, the MP for North East Somerset has become known for his conservative principles and unique mannerisms.
