Lee Anderson bizarrely brags about poll showing Labour hit highest support since 2024

Lee Anderson seemingly choosing to reject the evidence of his eyes and ears.

Lee Anderson has bizarrely hailed a poll that show Labour hitting their highest level of support in years, claiming it is proof Reform are “not going away.”

By now, everyone knows the trend in the polls. For months, Labour have been on the rise under Andy Burnham’s leadership whilst Reform’s polling numbers have slumped as the party and Nigel Farage are dogged by scandal and controversy.

Whereas this time last year you’d have heard Reform figures shouting from the rooftops about their polling, they’ve now gone quiet as poll after poll shows Labour opening up a clear lead at the top – and some even show Reform slipping into third place.

But it seems that Labour-turned-Tory-turned-Reform politician Lee Anderson is going for a new tactic of simply ignoring Labour’s success.

More in Common’s latest polling showed Labour’s support had jumped by two points to 29%, their highest level of support with the pollster since 2024.

In our latest voting intention, Labour hit 29% their highest since 2024, Reform move to 2nd & Greens fall to lowest since August 2025

But, for 30p Lee, this was a successful poll for Reform, who saw a three–point increase in support.

Sharing the poll on X, Anderson wrote: “Up 3 points… We’re not going away!”

Of course, the Ashfield MP decided not to mention Labour’s continued rise in support and five point lead over Reform at the top of the poll.
