Strasbourg, the French city home to the European Parliament, has just entered the Trump slander storybooks with an 8.5 feet (2.59 metres) tall statue depicting a naked and golden Trump sitting on the back of a man.
The piece, created by Danish artist Jens Galschiot and titled The Orange Plague, has an inscription at the bottom of a satirical pledge credited to the ‘King of Injustice.’
It reads: “I am sitting on the back of a man. He is sinking under my burden. I will do anything to help him. Except stepping down from his back. – The King of Injustice.”

On his website, Galschiot said: “Trump represents one of the greatest threats to the rule-based world order, democratic values and our common effort to solving the climate crisis.
“We must address this issue and stand together against such destructive influence.”
The statue, set to remain in the Alsatian city until Thursday, is expected to be shipped to Turkey for the November COP31 UN Climate Conference.
However, this isn’t the first time that the statue has been displayed, making headlines at the last Climate Conference last year in Brazil, and at the Munich Security Conference earlier this year.

The statue was also on display at Denmark’s Rebild Festival and Copenhagen’s “Hands off Greenland” demonstrations.
