‘Work-shy’ Andrew Pierce fails to turn up for work… again

This is turning into a common theme for the Daily Mail man.

Kevin Maguire hit out at “work-shy” Andrew Pierce after he failed to turn up for work for the second time in a month.

The Daily Mail journalist was nowhere to be seen during a Good Morning Britain broadcast from the Conservative Party Conference in Manchester, sparking speculation that he could have been out late partying with the delegates.

Party conference season is commonly known as one of the booziest times of the year for people involved in politics and those from the media who cover it.

But while The Mirror’s Kevin Maguire managed to turn up for the morning TV rounds, his counterpart seemingly struggled to pull himself out of bed, leading to suggestions of a “work-shy” attitude in reference to rhetoric commonly found in his newspaper.

It’s not the first time Pierce has missed his alarm ahead of a GMB broadcast.

It hasn’t been a month since he last turned up to the studios in London having overslept.

Looks like he might be making a bit of a habit of it!
